A checkout screen built in one sprint

Pallet's warehouse app had grown by accretion. We built a small system and proved it by rebuilding the hardest screen from it in a single sprint.

Pallet makes inventory software for small warehouses. Every new screen took a month because every screen was new. We built a compact system - tables, list rows, scanner-friendly controls and their states - and then rebuilt the picking and checkout screen from it with the Pallet engineers, in one sprint, as the proof.

The handheld scanner flow got quantity steppers big enough for gloves. Pallet has shipped six screens from the system since, none of them taking more than two weeks.
